Hi, I'm Carly! I am a student at Framingham High School in Framingham, Massachusetts. I am planning to major in film. In high school, I took every Video Production course available to me, realizing that this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

When it comes to TV and movies, I have always gravitated towards comedy. The first time I was truly inspired by this form of media was while watching the show Parks and Recreation. I give credit to the writers on this show, who showed me that something as simple as a twenty-two-minute comedy can have just as much heart and meaning as a three-hour-long drama.

I want to major in film so I can lift others up during hard times. Certain movies and shows have been there for me when I was at a low, and I hope to one day inspire others the way so many films and shows have inspired me. I am eager to start my journey into the world of film.
